13 Daily Habits that are a must in your To Do List

A person is made, not by a few energized efforts, but by one's everyday routine. It is a simple, powerful and often ignored saga of every life. It is always going to be your daily habits that are going to make or break your destiny. These habits are going to decide the contentment level every day and hence sum up a great or mediocre life, as the case may be. After decades of experience, I am sharing 13 of my daily habits that have helped shape my life, and they can shape yours too....Read on..
Many of these 13 daily habits are setup as reminders on my mobile so that I do not miss out any of them. These habits have shaped my life until now.

These can make your life very meaningful too. Pick up what makes more sense to you. Leave what does not. You need to script your own life, and therefore each and every day needs to be scripted accordingly.

1. Be a Fitness Freak
Nothing feels better than going out in the open early in the morning and doing your bit of morning walk, running, stretching, yoga or whatever else that rejuvenates you. A healthy mind resides only in a healthy body. So boring to read, but boring does not take away an iota of truth from this fact. Get fit, feel good about yourself, and see how the day beautifully pans out for you. Even if there were setbacks during the day, the satisfaction of having worked on your fitness will provide you with the necessary ammunition to tackle all such setbacks.

2. Interact with your Plants
Plants are the biggest source of peace and happiness. Nurture them, talk to them, water them, trim them, just cajole them. They will respond. They will talk to you. If possible, plant a few trees in the lawn or road side near you. Take care of them for a few years and see them grow, and bear fruits that others enjoy. You got to experience this special feeling.

3. Healthy Breakfast for your Mind
We are often too much focused on our body and too often neglect the vitality of our mind. If we understand that every physical disease originates in the mind, and can therefore be cured the same way, we would pay enough focus on feeding our mind with the right things. Dump your newspaper or TV channel and listen to something stimulating in the morning.

4. Appreciate Yourself
Make a great self talk. Repeat it with passion and enthusiasm in your mind and verbally at least once a day in the morning. Write genuine good qualities and strengths about yourself. A few of my self appreciations everyday morning includes:
a) I am a great listener;
b) I have big dreams and I am working on them everyday;
c) I can give awesome sessions on Happiness, Money and Dreams;... and so on..
Repeat them out loud. they will make you feel good and self confident. Remember that you will rise in level only to the level of your self confidence.
It is always good to know about your positive qualities and even better to remind yourself of those everyday.

5. Set yourself up for Improvement
After having appreciated yourself of your good qualities, remind yourself of the things you need to improve upon. It could be as simple as reminding yourself that you are in any relationship only to serve, or that you need to address people by their first names or anything else that needs improvement. Daily self improvement is what builds you up, elevates your life and prepares you for the next bigger challenge.

6. Play & Study with your Children
Time will surely set them apart one day. But before the destiny plays its role, make sure that you extract the maximum time from your life for your loved ones, especially your children. Do not get too busy working for money. Get financially free, earn back your time and devote it to a worthy destination. No one else can give the same values to your children as you can.

In case you stay far away, setup a call for 15 min daily. 13. Good Night Kiss
Too often in the day, we get so occupied with the mundanes of life that we tend to ignore that we are surrounded by fragile, emotional, sensitive human beings. End the day with a good night kiss on the forehead of each family member. This brings a great close to a beautiful day, all differences swashed away in that parting kiss.
