8 Insightful lessons from 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull: A Story' by 'Richard Bach'

A story about passion, learning and humility.

This book is a distinguished motivational fable about seeking a higher purpose in life, even if the circumstances seem inconvenient. By not deserting his quest, Jonathan learns about the importance of love, respect, freedom and forgiveness.

After having read the book page by page, I, hereby, list down 8 insightful lessons from this awesome book.
These are the examples that stuck with me.
These learnings are worded and appended in a way that makes it easier for most of us to understand and absorb.

For now, if you wish to know about 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull: A Story', and what I learned from it, here you go...

1/ Most people around you will not believe in your success. Even if you prove it to them, they will not be ready to accept you but that's just fine. That's the price you pay for extraordinary success. You have to be happy with what you achieved.

2/ Every goal has a limit. It's only perfection that is limitless.

3/ It is pointless to share your dream with others who do not share the same dream. They will never be able to visualize what you are able to visualize from your position.

4/ The only true love is the one which leads to freedom.

5/ It's difficult to convince e people that they can be free with practice and dedication.

6/ Behind all the hatred, jealousy or evil, there lies pure and sacred beings. With practice, we must learn how to see that pure being.

7/ We don't need much help from outside if we keep finding ourselves a little more each day and approach the infinite within us. That infinite is our instructor, our torch bearer.

8/ Don't believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding. The right understanding is that we are all an image of God.

Hope these 8 insightful lessons will help shape up your thought process to some extent and help you appreciate life much better.
